Materials for sex toys: silicones and plastic.

Every sex store consultant, every designer, every developer of devices, every customer of an intimate store should know this. Only sex toys from safe materials should be allowed to your body! Many manufacturers not particularly thinking about it put such marks on the products but in fact far from all modern vibrators are made of safe materials.
Coming to a store, many average customers are sure that if this wasn’t safe, it wouldn’t appear on the shelves.
Alas, I have to disagree with this. Even latex toys are not completely safe. Not every packaging specifies the material and especially its composition. Your eye estimation is not the best recommendation for a purchase. Be extremely careful with this.

Today I will talk only about the materials which I believe to be 100% safe but keep in mind that these are my personal recommendations based on personal experience only.
When I talk about silicone toys in test-drives I mean two kinds: these are either solid one-piece silicone toys or plastic vibrators which are covered with silicone skin. Such toys can be easily disinfected, safely washed with cleaners (special, not for washing dishes!) or anti-bacterial soap, and even boiled.
Other materials which are much cheaper and porous, such as latex, rubber, elastomer, PVC, etc. may contain bacteria and get damaged after the slightest sanitization. I strongly don’t recommend to poke this rubbish in yourself and your loved ones. If suddenly under some tortures you have agreed, please use condoms with them.

Toys made of natural silicone are available in many companies which share leading positions on the modern market of sex industry. Many realistic toys are safe but you can find fancy dildos too. Any colours, sizes, brands.

What to pay attention to when making a purchase:
– no smell and taste
– hypoallergenic mark
– ability to wash with chlorine solution or even in a dishwasher
IMPORTANT: such toys are generally not compatible with silicone and oil-based lubricants.
Keep them in a special textile cover or box, the material collects on the dust, fluff and hair.

Toys made of hard plastic with silicone coating are usually rather rigid, they have a smooth and sometimes slippery oily-like surface. Keep in mind that vibrators contain an electric filling, they can’t be boiled and put in a dishwasher but can be washed with antibacterial agents or chlorine solution.

Toys made of hard plastic (ABS) – vibrobullets and classical vibrators. This material transmits vibration fantastically, looks amazing, is compatible with any lubricant, is easy to wash.
